WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE?

We understand that life happens and things may need to be rescheduled or canceled.

Please note that we require a 50% retainer/deposit for all sessions which is non-refundable. By booking your session you confirm that you agree to this policy in addition to our terms and conditions.

If rescheduling is needed, there is a $75 fee to reschedule. Please be courteous when rescheduling, and do so at least 3 days in advance. All rescheduled sessions need to be completed within 30 days of the original date.  Rescheduling consideration is made at the discretion of Jon J Photography LLC.

Client agrees that the rescheduling fee fairly compensates Provider for accommodating changes in our schedule and committing to provide the Services and turning down other potential projects/clients. Therefore the rescheduling fee is non-refundable. 

Cancellation, Rescheduling and No-Shows

Cancellation, Rescheduling of Services or No-Show Client: If Client desires to cancel Services, reschedule Services, or if it becomes impossible for Provider to render Services due to the fault of the Client or parties related to Client or failure of one or more essential parties to the Client’s to show up in a timely manner, Client shall provide notice to Provider as soon as possible via email to jonj@jonjphotography.com. The provider has no obligation to attempt to re-book further Services to fill the void created by Client’s cancellation, rescheduling, no-show or if it becomes impossible for Provider to provide the Services due to the fault of Client (or parties related to Client), and Provider will not be obligated to refund any monies Client has previously paid towards the Total Cost. Client is not relieved of any payment obligations for cancelled Services, rescheduled Services, failing to show up for the session, or should it become impossible for Provider to provide the services due to the fault of Client (or parties related to Client) unless the Parties otherwise agree in writing. For instance, if Provider is able to secure another, unrelated client for a session, then Provider may choose, at its sole discretion, to excuse all (or a portion of) Client’s outstanding balance of the Total Cost. 

WHEN WILL MY PHOTOS BE AVAILABLE TO REVIEW?

You will be provided with a private online digital gallery to review the media from your session up to 30 minutes after your session. Our interactive galleries are easy to use and allow you to download, share, purchase prints, and more! 

After your selections are made for any edits that you are ordering, please allow between 7 to 12 business days to receive them.

WHEN WILL MY FINAL EDITED PHOTOS BE READY?

After selections are made your final retouched images will be provided to you within 12 business days. If you need your photos prior to that, we do offer expedited turnaround services within 48 to 72 hours for an additional fee of $150. Your invoice will be updated to reflect this service and is due prior to us commencing editing.

I HAVE TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID. HOW CAN I RESCHEDULE MY SHOOT?

The health and safety of our clients and our staff are paramount to us. We sincerely hope that you get well soon. Our rescheduling policy applies to all sessions, however, we do consider waiving the rescheduling fee with proof of diagnosis. This is done at the discretion of Jon J so please inquire. 

CAN I BRING CONFETTI OR GLITTER FOR MY SESSION?

We LOVE a celebration, however cleaning up confetti and/or glitter is not much of a party. We do not allow confetti or glitter in the studio but don’t fret. We are able to add it in during the editing phase so you still achieve the celebratory aesthetic you are after. 

If your shoot is on location or outdoors, feel free to bring along the glitter and confetti but be mindful that you will be responsible for the cleanup after the shoot. 

I’M SELF-CONSCIOUS ABOUT MY SKIN/BODY. WILL THE IMAGES BE EDITED?

You are picture-perfect, and I will prove it to you! Your photos will highlight the best qualities of yourself. We also provide retouching and editing services so you can look like the absolute best version of yourself. 

HOW OFTEN SHOULD MY HEADSHOTS BE UPDATED?

We don’t want to encourage catfishing! No one likes to be caught off guard by a headshot that was taken years ago and only vaguely resembles you. A current headshot can support your credibility with your community, colleagues, and potential clients. With that in mind, we recommend updating your headshot annually. 

ARE YOU ABLE TO COME TO MY OFFICE/BUSINESS FOR THE SHOOT?

Yes, we provide in-studio and on-location services. We are always excited to shoot in amazing locations. We are also available to provide location scouting for your session as an a la carte service. 

CAN YOU SHOOT OUT ENTIRE STAFF/TEAM?

Sure thing! Portraits for your team and even some group shots are a great way to show off your company culture. We can certainly pull off a new and improved “School Picture Day” experience for your team.

CAN YOU PHOTOGRAPH CONTENT FOR SOCIAL MEDIA AND MARKETING?

Absolutely! We can provide branding and lifestyle media for your organization/brand. We go beyond headshots. Let’s partner to create and capture the experiences of your team, highlight products/services, and show off your locations. These shots are perfect for marketing collateral, social media, and more. 

ARE YOU ABLE TO COME TO MY LOCATION FOR THE SHOOT?

We are always excited to shoot in amazing locations and are available to travel world-wide. Looking for a brilliant locale? We are also available to provide location scouting for your session as an a la carte service. 

IS IT OKAY TO BRING A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER?

Absolutely! Whoever makes you feel most comfortable is welcome. If you’re under the age of 18, I insist that you bring along a parent or guardian. If you’d like to have some photos with your plus one let’s chat about the available options during your consultation!

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY SENIOR PHOTOS/GRADUATION SESSION?

For our great Grads, we recommend scheduling at least one month in advance. Our weekend sessions are usually the first to fill up, especially in peak seasons. Scheduling your session in advance gives you the security of knowing your date is reserved just for you.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO SHOOT MY MATERNITY SESSION?

Maternity photoshoots are ideally scheduled to take place between 32-36 weeks of your pregnancy. However, if you are expecting twins or multiples, it is best to schedule your maternity shoot for around 29-30 weeks.
